PASTFWD COMMITTEE MEMBERS
We are educators with a particular interest in history and history education. Over the last few months, we have all been engaged in interesting and thought-provoking conversations concerning history education on a variety of social media platforms. The outbreak of COVID-19 has put the whole world on hold and as conventions and gatherings were cancelled worldwide, this prompted us to think about how some of those conversations could continue and contribute to future debates in history education. The name PastFwd came about as a result of one of those conversations and we think you will agree that it sums up what this initiative is about: starting debates on how to bring the teaching of the past forward!
